Job Description:
Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking an experienced Driver for our client in the manufacturing sector. The role involves the safe and timely transportation of customer orders to various locations nationwide, supporting efficient operations and the achievement of planned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate the assigned vehicle in compliance with the Highway Code and all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload goods according to delivery instructions and ensure timely deliveries.
- Verify delivery documentation and ensure accurate order delivery.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to the Stores Manager before dispatch.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and always maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Secure goods against loss or damage and park only in approved, secure locations.
- Track and report expiry dates of insurance, licenses, and vehicle documentation for timely renewal.
- Immediately report accidents, defects, delays, or traffic violations to the Stores Manager.
- Attend mandatory road safety and traffic compliance training.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in a business-related field.
- 2 years’ experience transporting fast-moving consumer goods.
- Valid driving license (Class C, C1, CE,) with a clean driving record and no criminal convictions.
- Strong knowledge of the Highway Code, inland transport routes, and defensive driving practices.
- Proficient in spoken English, with good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the role.
